THE PERSON WHO CHASES TWO RABBITS CATCHES NEITHER — CONFUCIUS
I decided to check my emails as usual before delving into executing the things I had planned for the day. 30 minutes after I was done, I started with the 1st item on my list which was developing a proposal to offer our services at Jewel Publishers; Graphics, Publishing, Branding and General Printing to some businesses in Abuja.
I was barely done with that when my colleague said, ‘Chuka i just sent you an email on some payments you need to make to some vendors. They are waiting, please do it now. I paused that proposal and spent about 45 minutes doing that.
Few Minutes after I was done, he pings me about some customer service issues he needs to talk about regarding some designs we needed to finish and another mail about something else and something about all sorts etc.
By the time I got home and decided to review my day, I discovered while journaling that I tried to do everything but completed nothing including that proposal.
I chased too many rabbits and caught none. NOTHING BEATS FOCUS. THE POWER IN FOCUS IS THAT YOU ACHIEVE MORE.
My lessons worked for me the next day, I did better. SO FOCUS MORE AND ACHIEVE MORE.
