A bit concerned about my Kids fees and other bills I have to pay, I got down on my knees to pray and stumbled on an old Persian proverb that said “I cursed the fact I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet”. Seeing that immediately changed the perspective of my prayers.

I chose this morning to reflect and be grateful for many things that we have and have been able to do rather than complain about the few things that are quite challenging.

Robin Sharma brings to mind images of millions of children who may have gone to bed last night Hungry. if you doubt me, check with UNICEF, World Food Programme, #IDPCamps, #CommunityofSaintEgidio.

While some may be worried about how to replace their makeups that are currently exhausted, I read about a little girl born without a face, just 2 eyes and a mouth.

Some worry about the traffic to work while some are currently thinking about how they can afford their fares to work.

We will always have challenges but a new perspective we can have while we try to resolve them is to CELEBRATE THE BLESSINGS in our lives. Somehow, we get re-energised to think up solutions to make lives better.

Shalom.
